Dr. Jamin Bercaw
Team 6-2, 6-3 and 8th Grade
Dr. Jamin Bercaw was appointed as Assistant Principal at Oak Hill Middle School in November 2014. Prior to his appointment, he had served as the 8-2 social studies teacher at Oak Hill since January 2011 and as interim Assistant Principal from January-June 2014. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at Illinois Wesleyan University as a double major in History and Political Science. He completed a Master of Science in Education degree at Eastern Illinois University while working as a substitute teacher, banker, and local government employee. Dr. Bercaw has taught high school and middle school social studies in Illinois; Washington, D.C.; and Tennessee prior to his move to Massachusetts. He holds a Master of Arts in History from Salem State University and completed a Doctor of Education degree in K-12 Educational Leadership and Policy at Vanderbilt University, Peabody College in Nashville, Tennessee.
